Deskstar NAS x 2", a set model of two HGST HDDs for NAS, is now available!

A package of two HGST's Deskstar NAS 3.5-inch HDDs for NAS is now available from distributor Field Lake.

The lineup includes two models: the 0S03667-2, an 8TB kit (4TB x 2 units), and the 0S03842-2, a 12TB kit (6TB x 2 units).

Both of these products are sets of "identical production lots," which are said to have even fewer individual differences among HDDs of the same model number. This package is suitable for RAID environments where matching lots is desirable.

The drives themselves are also sold as individual box packages, with the 8TB kit consisting of the 4TB model "0S03667" and the 12TB kit consisting of the 6TB model "0S03842.

This package is a safe choice when building RAID with a 2-bay NAS or other devices.
