SUPERMICRO's C7Z97-M gaming motherboard with Z97 is coming soon!

SUPERMICRO's C7Z97-M gaming motherboard is now available for pre-order at Oriospec and BUY MORE Akihabara flagship stores.

This is a desktop product targeting gamers, which is rare for SUPERMICRO, a company that mainly produces enterprise-oriented products such as servers and workstations.

The C7Z97-M is a MicroATX motherboard equipped with the Z97 chipset. The board is equipped with server-grade parts that improve stability and reliability, such as NPCAP ceramic chip capacitors, digital PWM, DrMOS, and ferrite core choke coils for enhanced overclocking performance.

It also features a UEFI BIOS that allows users to raise or lower the clock and adjust various voltages and other overclocking settings in detail. Another key point is that it can be easily operated with a mouse.

Expansion slots are one PCI Express 3.0 x16, one PCI Express 3.0 x8, and one PCI Express 2.0 x4, and memory is DDR3 DIMM x4 (3300 MHz support, maximum 32 GB). Other major interfaces include 7.1-channel sound, Gigabit LAN (Intel i210AT), SATA 6Gbps x 6, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, HDMI, and DisplayPort.

Incidentally, the first batch will include an original USB memory stick (8GB) as a bonus.

The release date is January 9. Preliminary price is 24,480 yen (including tax).
