Survival game facility in Akihabara's Electric Town with a floor space of about 300 tsubo! ASOBIBA Akihabara Store" opens on February 1!

ASOBIBA Akihabara, a survival game facility, will open in Electric Town on February 1. The location is on Kanda Myojin Street, on the second floor of the Daido Limited building that houses the drugstore/cafe AKIBA Drug & Cafe (Akidora).

This is the newest branch of ASOBIBA, which has been operating survival game fields near stations in central Tokyo since October 2013. So far, the company has opened stores in Yaesu, Daimon, Itabashi, Odaiba, Kanda, Sakuragicho, Nagoya, Nihonbashi, and Huis Ten Bosch, and the Akihabara store will be its 10th. The Akihabara store will be designed to be fully enjoyable for beginners, and will also take on the function of introducing survival games originating in Japan to the overseas market. It will also collaborate with otaku content such as anime and games.

The field concept of the Akihabara store is "an abandoned house in the forest. The site covers an area of approximately 300 tsubo, and can accommodate approximately 40 people playing at the same time. Electric guns, masks, camouflage clothing, and other rental items are available in abundance, and the staff will provide training for beginners and assistance with game play, making it easy for even a single beginner to have fun.

Hours of operation are 10:00-22:00 (24 hours available for private parties), with fees ranging from 3,500 yen on weekdays to 4,500 yen on weekends and holidays (rental fees are not included). The pre-opening will be on February 1, with the grand opening on February 7.

Incidentally, "Hello Storage Kanda-Akihabara Part 3," an indoor trunk room with 96 rooms on seven floors, has opened two doors down from the building, and may come in handy as a storage space for equipment.
