An interview with the recording cast has arrived from the new TV anime "Contractor of the New Sister Demon King," which started last night, January 7, 2015, at 1:35 AM.

The anime "The Contractor of the New Sister Demon King (Testament)" is based on the light novel by KAMISU Hajito, which is currently being published by Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko. It is a romantic comedy/action story about a first-year high school student who gets caught up in a battle against demons when she takes a new demon lord as her sister-in-law. The character design is by Yoshihiro Watanabe of "Sora no Otoshimono" and "Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai" fame. Animation production is by Production IIMS.

The main cast includes Yuichi Nakamura as Baysara Tojo, the main character, a former member of the heroic clan who is bewildered by the sudden arrival of his sister-in-law, and Ayaka Asai as Mio Naruse, the daughter of the previous demon king who has become Baysara's sister-in-law. In addition, Yuzuki Nonaka, a childhood friend of Hasera, is played by Emi Bridcut Sailor, Maria Naruse, a loli looking succubus who is Hasera's sister-in-law, is played by Kaori Fukuhara, Chisato Hasegawa, a school nurse at Seigasaka Academy, which Hasera and his friends attend, is played by Yu Asakawa, and Hasera's father, the world-renowned photographer Tojo Jun, is played by Keiji Fujiwara. --What was your impression of the film when you first saw it?

Nakamura: Frankly speaking, I thought he was a nasty guy (laughs). I thought so, but as I got to know the actual work, I felt that the relationship with the heroine and the flashy battles were depicted in a well-developed story. I strongly felt that it is a work that contains a few service scenes within a serious development.

Asai: When I first read the comic book version on the official website, I was so curious about the rest of the story that I bought the original novel. Above all, I was attracted by the fantasy elements, and there were some elements that made me quite thrilled.

Fukuhara I thought the work was full of dreams. Not only in the hot storyline, but also in the slightly erotic scenes, battle scenes, and dialogues, every scene is filled with various dreams. I thought that was interesting.

Bridcut: At first I was attracted to the cool boy and cute girl on the cover of the original work, with their meaningful expressions, but when I actually read the book, it turned out to be quite hard-hitting (laughs). I was very nervous. The reasoning behind the slightly erotic scenes is also interesting.

Asakawa: I somehow imagined from the title that it would be a bit naughty, and that's exactly what it is (laughs). The chuunibyou-ish part is also nice. First of all, the name "Edasara" is amazing. Also, I think it's cute to watch the girls fight so hard.

Sugita: I first saw the lead voice actress (Ms. Nakamura) reading the original story in an e-book from the side. At that time, I thought I would secretly buy it myself after ....... And I was right to buy it.

--What do you find attractive about the characters you play and what points do you sympathize with them?

Nakamura: I am attracted by their sense of justice, which is a bit daredevil-like. I think she is a child whose will to protect someone has been rooted in her since long ago. I don't sympathize with ...... much (laughs). I am the type of person who, if possible, when I have extra money, for example, if I have 10,000 yen and I can treat myself to a thousand yen (laughs). I would like to learn about his way of life through his works.

Asai: The appeal of Mio is that she is honest about her feelings. She clearly says what she doesn't like and is straightforward about her feelings toward Hasera and Yuzuki. Her feelings for Hasera grow so strong that she sometimes feels the need to spoil him. I think it's cute that she goes through such intense emotions and changes her facial expression from one moment to the next.

Fukuhara: Maria has two sides to her, a firm side and a mischievous side, and I think the gap between the two is interesting. I would like you to pay attention to the way she acts towards Edesara and Mio when her limiter is off. Another attraction is ...... her buttocks (laugh). Please pay attention to this as well!

Bridcut I think Yuzuki has a wonderful atmosphere of not showing too much emotion and keeping something hidden. However, her reticence is not because she is shy. The reason for this will be revealed, so please look forward to it. Rather than sympathizing with her, I admire her reticence because I like to talk a lot (laugh).

Asakawa: I don't think Chisato has any desire to heal anyone or to be the older sister they admire, but the children heal and admire her on their own. That kind of mature attitude is what I find attractive about her.

Sugita It's a confidence in one's own strength that the actor playing the role doesn't have. He always leaves room to enjoy the situation and never forgets to have fun, even though he could come to a conclusion at any moment. I hope that the actor can enjoy the situation of being at his mercy.

--What points are you conscious of in your performance?

Nakamura: During the recording of the first episode, after the test, I was told to be more neutral. I guess he meant that although I am a special person, I am just an ordinary student in general. I had never played such a role before, so I was very conscious of that.

Asai: She is always tempted by Maria to do naughty things without question (laughs), so I wanted to bring that honesty to the forefront. I try to differentiate between the way I talk to Hadesara, who is sweet to me as a younger sister, and the way I talk to her when I am aware of her as the opposite sex.

Fukuhara: I am careful to distinguish between the part where she is firm and the part where her limiter is off. I can switch between the two very quickly. For example, there are times when I think I'm messing around with Edahara, and then suddenly I have a sulky expression on my face. I want to do my best to keep up with her so that I don't get left behind by the changes in her facial expressions and speech.

Bridcut: Yuzuki's feelings for Hasera lie at the root of her character, so even though she is a quiet person, I try to convey those feelings in every word. Later on, Yuzuki will have sexy scenes or scenes where her limiter is removed (laughs), so I think I was able to switch up my performance well there.

Asakawa: Although the characters are older than the ones you are playing, I am not the type to overprotect and worry about them, so I tried to treat each of them as an adult. I try to treat each of them as an adult. I don't want to be too much of a big sister, but at the same time, I don't forget to be kind.

Sugita: She is always full of confidence, so I am especially conscious of the volume of her voice and the way she speaks, as if she eats the other person's lines. I think that even a slightly deliberate way of speaking can be a stepping stone to later roles. I hope I can create an eerie atmosphere.

Nakamura: There will be service scenes, but the story will be story-based, so please pay attention to the story. I think there will be a lot of hot battle scenes, so please look forward to those as well.

Asai: I have read "The Contractor of the New Sister Demon King" as a reader, so I will try to perform in a way that does not spoil the image of the original work. Fans of the original work, let's look forward to seeing it move as an animation together!

Fukuhara: My position is between the senior cast members such as Mr. Nakamura, Ms. Sugita, Mr. Asakawa, and Bri-chan and Asai-chan, so I hope I can be a good neutralizer. Asakawa: Actually, during the auditions, I met the director who used to be a great help to me for a long time. I was nervous the whole time, wondering what he would think of what I had been doing during that time.
