Z97 mother for gaming from SUPERMICRO! MicroATX-compatible "C7Z97-M" released

SUPERMICRO, well-known for its enterprise-oriented products such as servers and workstations, has released the C7Z97-M, a gaming motherboard for consumers.


The C7Z97-M is a MicroATX motherboard equipped with the Z97 chipset and server-grade parts that improve stability and reliability, such as NPCAP ceramic chip capacitors, digital PWM, DrMOS, and ferrite core choke coils for overclocking Enhanced performance.

The UEFI BIOS allows users to adjust overclocking settings in detail, such as raising and lowering the clock and adjusting various voltages. Adjustments can be made easily with a mouse operation.

Expansion slots include one PCI Express 3.0 x16, one PCI Express 3.0 x8, and one PCI Express 2.0 x4, and memory is DDR3 DIMM x4 (3300 MHz support, maximum 32 GB). Other major interfaces include 7.1-channel sound, Gigabit LAN (Intel i210AT), SATA 6Gbps x 6, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, HDMI, and DisplayPort.

Incidentally, the first run comes with an original USB memory stick (8GB) as a bonus.
