2015 Winter Anime "Death Parade" to be released in a single BD/DVD boxed set! Original TV anime from Nittele and Madhouse

BD/DVD information has been announced for the TV anime "Death Parade," which is currently airing.



Death Parade" is a TV series adaptation of the original anime "Death Billiard" produced by Madhouse, which was released in 2013 as part of the young animator training project "Anime Mirai" and attracted attention for its style of depicting the depths of humanity and the riddle story it throws at viewers. Yuzuru Tachikawa, who participated in "BLEACH" and "The Book of Dantalian" as a director, and directed the first OVA "Arata naru Sekai", will direct the TV series as well. Character design and chief animation director is Shinichi Kurita, and art director is Satoru Hirayanagi. Production will continue to be produced by Madhouse.

Broadcasting began on January 9, and BD/DVD information was revealed. Both will be released in a boxed set (one volume) on June 17. The audio bonus is an audio commentary; the BD-BOX limited edition will include a bonus video consisting of a collection of PVs and trailers, as well as liner notes. The BD-BOX Limited Edition is priced at 30,000 yen plus tax, the BD-BOX Normal Edition at 22,000 yen plus tax, and the DVD-BOX Normal Edition at 18,000 yen plus tax. Rental DVDs will be available from April.
