Seagate's "Enterprise NAS HDD" for high-end NAS is now available!　6TB/3TB models now available

Seagate's "Enterprise NAS HDD," a higher-end 3.5-inch HDD for NAS, is now available in a 6TB capacity model, ST6000VN0001, and a 3TB model, ST3000VN0001.

The "Enterprise NAS HDD" is a 3.5-inch HDD for multi-bay NAS and RAID systems.

The company has already released the " NAS HDD " series of 1- to 5-bay compact NAS HDDs, and this new product is a step above that. This model is designed for use in rackmount/tower type HDDs with up to 16 bays for mid-size companies, and features a large 128 MB cache and 7200 rpm rotation speed for improved data transfer speeds.

The RV Sensor, which detects and controls vibrations, and the Dual Stage Actuator, which enhances head positioning accuracy, have been adopted to improve stability and reliability in multi-drive configurations, and the RAID Rebuild technology reduces the workload for rebuilding RAID volumes. The interface is SATA 6Gbps.

The interface is SATA 6Gbps, cache capacity is 128MB, disk speed is 7200rpm, and internal transfer rate is 216MB/sec. Power consumption (idle/operating) is 6.9W/11.27W for 6TB model and 6.0W/9.42W for 3TB model.
