Animation film "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection "F"", Momoiro Clover Z sings the theme song!　Momoiro Clover: "I've been aware of it ever since we became Z"

It was announced that Momoiro Clover Z will sing the theme song from the anime film "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F'," which will be released on April 18, 2015.

Following "Dragon Ball Z: Gods and Gods," which was released in March 2013 as the first theatrical version in 17 years, this will be the 19th theatrical Dragon Ball film. It is a sequel to the previous "Gods and Gods," and is also notable for being scripted by the original author, Akira Toriyama, himself. The director is Naoki Yamamuro, a long-time animation director for the series, who participated in the previous film as the chief animation director. The cast includes Masako Nozawa, Ryusei Nakao, Koichi Yamadera, Seiichi Morita, Ryo Horikawa, Shoji Sato, Hiromi Tsuru, Mayumi Tanaka, Toshio Furukawa, Takeshi Kusao, Hikaru Midorikawa, and Yuko Minaguchi.

The theme song will be sung by Momoiro Clover Z, an idol unit that has become very popular as a "weekend heroine. Producer Hayashida of Toei Animation commented, "Momoiro Clover Z is a big fan of 'Dragon Ball' and understands its worldview very well, so we offered them the theme song. I was very happy to be able to offer them the opportunity to sing the theme song for the movie.
