The Raspberry Pi A+ 256MB, a small single-board computer that sells for 3,000 yen, is now on sale!

The "Raspberry Pi A+ 256MB," a single-board computer running a Linux-based OS, is now on sale at Oriospec.



The "Raspberry Pi A+ 256MB" is a lower-priced, more compact version of the "Raspberry Pi B+". Compared to the "Raspberry Pi B+", the network interface and USB port have been removed, and the board size has been reduced to 66 x 56 mm (86 x 56 mm for the B+).

While smaller, it also has a 40-pin GPIO header and a MicroSD card slot, similar to the "Raspberry Pi B+". In addition to this, power consumption has also been lowered due to the smaller board size and reduced number of components.


The onboard CPU is the BCM2835. Other interfaces include 1 x USB 2.0, HDMI, and composite. Power supply is microUSB.
