Video Cards with GeForce GTX 960 Simultaneously Released! Mid-range GPUs in the 30,000-yen price range and short board models are also available!

Video cards featuring NVIDIA's new desktop GPU, GeForce GTX 960, are now available en masse. The retail prices range from 29,980 yen to 36,000 yen including tax.


The GeForce GTX 960 is a lower-end model of the recently released GeForce GTX 970, with a GM206 core based on the second-generation Maxwell architecture.

Specifications include 1024 CUDA cores, clock speed of 1126MHz base/1178MHz boost, and memory data rate of 7Gbps (equivalent to 7010MHz clock speed). Onboard memory is 2GB of GDDR5 (128-bit bus interface). The auxiliary power connector is a single 6-pin, TDP of 120 W. Monitor output ports are DisplayPort x 3, HDMI x 1, and DVI x 1.

On the first day, 16 products from 9 manufacturers were confirmed: ASUS (1 product), ELSA (1 product), GALAX (2 products), GIGABYTE (3 products), Palit (2 products), MSI (2 products), ZOTAC (2 products), Genin-oriented (1 product), Inno3D (2 products).

All of them are original cooler or overclocking models, and GALAX and GIGABYTE also introduced short board models in the 170mm board length class. All of them are 2-slot occupancy type.
