The event will be an ultra-cool overclocking of an unidentified ASUS video card, which is scheduled to appear this weekend. Mr. Shimizu, an overclocker, will demonstrate the extreme cooling demo. He will be challenging the goal of "aiming for a core clock speed of 2GHz or higher. The demonstration will be streamed on video as well.

The new video card to be used at the event is not known at all. However, if it is a new GPU that has the potential to aim for 2GHz core clock, it is likely to be the GeForce GTX 980.

Incidentally, those who purchase this new product on the day of the event will receive an ASUS ROG USB flash drive filled with overclocking tools carefully selected by Mr. Shimizu.
