GTX 980 for Benchmarkers from ASUS! MATRIX-GTX980-P-4GD5" on Sale

The MATRIX-GTX980-P-4GD5 GeForce GTX 980 video card from ASUS, which supports extreme cooling, is now available.

The MATRIX product is part of the company's R.O.G. series of gamer brands, designed especially for bench markers.

It features a "Memory Defroster" function that melts memory frost, which reduces cold bugs that occur when extremely cold, such as liquid chlorine. The stability of the product is enhanced by the use of "Black Metallic Capacitor," a highly durable capacitor made in Japan that can withstand -70 to 125 degrees Celsius, and "Super Alloy Power," a custom component that improves performance at the component level. It also features "DIGI+ VRM," a digital power circuit that reduces current noise by 30%.

On the cooling side, the original "DirectCU II" VGA cooler is equipped. It is said to be three times quieter and up to 25% cooler than the reference version.

Clock speeds have been increased from 1126MHz to 1241MHz for the core and from 1216MHz to 1342MHz for the boost clock. Onboard memory is 4GB of GDDR5 with a memory data rate of 7.0Gbps (equivalent to 7010MHz clock).

Monitor output ports are DisplayPort 1.2 x 3, DVI-I x 1, and HDMI x 1. Auxiliary power supply has 2 x 8-pin and 1 x 4-pin (for Memory Defroster). The main unit is a 2-slot occupancy type.
