GSR Cup Cycle Race, a cosplay/pain jersey required bicycle race, 2nd edition to be held in Mobara on April 25, 2015!　The number of entries is about twice as many as the previous race!

The second edition of the "GSR Cup Cycle Race," a cosplay bicycle race, will be held on April 25 at Mobara Twin Circuit in Mobara, Chiba Prefecture.

The first GSR Cup Cycle Race, held last September, attracted many riders who loved cosplay and characters on a scale beyond our initial expectations. The event was a great success, with a friendly atmosphere from start to finish. After the event, there were requests for the next event not only from the participants but also from many bicycle fans who had heard about the event on the Internet.

As in the previous event, participants will wear cycle wear or cosplay costumes featuring their favorite characters in the endurance race and criterium. The number of entries has been greatly expanded to about double that of the previous event, and a wide range of participants, from beginners to veterans, are expected to take part in the event. In addition, an anime song DJ will fill the entire venue, all-you-can-eat food service will be available, and Ukyo Katayama, director of the well-known SUPER GT automobile racing team "GOODSMILE RACING & TeamUKYO," and a race queen will make an appearance to liven up the event.

Applications for participation will be accepted until 23:59 on April 10, but will close as soon as the number of participants reaches the limit (same-day entries will not be accepted). The race consists of riding a bicycle around a set course. After the prescribed time has elapsed, the number of laps completed and the order of arrival at the finish line will determine the ranking. The 5-hour endurance race is a combination of the 2-hour and 3-hour divisions, so there will be a break in the middle of the race. The 5-hour endurance race has already reached its capacity at the time of this release and is no longer being accepted.

Criterium
The competition consists of a bicycle ride around a specified lap course. Participants compete in the time required to complete the prescribed number of laps and reach the goal.

Awards
Awards will be given to the first three finishers in each category. Extra prizes will also be given. A record certificate will be issued to all teams after the race.

Food Corner
Carbo loading (all-you-can-eat rice/mini bean buns)

Protein loading (Frankfurters)
After running as hard as you can, refuel your stomach. You can enjoy the event more if you prepare your own accompaniments for rice. Food and drinks are also available for a fee.

Animation song DJ
DJs will play anime songs produced by "MOGRA," an authentic DJ bar in Akihabara, which is at the forefront of otaku culture!

Exhibition and Sales Corner
Good Smile Racing and GSR Gear products will be on sale, as well as cycle jerseys and other goods from sponsors. If you find your favorite character cycle jersey, you can wear it and start riding immediately!

Trial Ride Corner
A test-run course will be set up on the west course, where you can enjoy riding your own bicycle as well as the demo bicycles of exhibitors.

Mechanic Service
Mechanics from professional stores will be on hand to provide support services. They will be on hand to provide emergency treatment for any problems that may arise during the event.
