SHOW BY ROCK! (show by rock) is a band-themed game app for smartphones that combines the elements of a sound game in which players touch the screen in time with the rhythm of the game and the elements of character development. As of September 2014, it has been downloaded more than 600,000 times, and is the first anime work released from Sanrio's first character project for game/anime fans. The original story combines unique band sounds with human drama, and is scheduled to be broadcast in the late-night slot instead of the morning slot.

Prior to the anime's broadcast in April, animate and Gamers will begin selling the product in March. First of all, from early March, about 130 Animate/Gamers stores nationwide will sell 10 types of band CDs (*limited production) for 1,200 yen, 68 types of acrylic key holders for 500 yen, and 3 types of messenger bags for 3,500 yen. In addition, life-size figures of "Cyan" and "Crow" (*limited to 3 each) will be available for order. The price is 2,690,000 yen plus tax.
