Arpeggio of Blue Steel, the first theatrical version of "DC," will be held on February 15 to commemorate the blockbuster hit! Newly opened in 36 additional theaters

The "Aoki Kogei no Arpeggio -Ars Nova the Movie DC" anime film, which will be released in theaters on January 31, has announced additional theaters and a stage greeting to commemorate the blockbuster hit.

Arpeggio of Aoki Steel -Ars Nova-" is an anime work based on "Arpeggio of Aoki Steel," a marine science fiction war story manga serialized in the monthly magazine Young King Awards. The story is set in a world where the sudden appearance of the "Fog Armada," a group of warships from World War II equipped with superweapons that humans could not possess, has taken control of the seas. The main character, a cadet, and his friends fight the "Fog Armada" aboard the I401, a submarine that has joined the human side. Two theater versions will be produced: the first, "DC" (released on January 31), which reconstructs the TV series and adds a new 40-minute episode and a new character, "The Fog Student Council," and the second, "Cadenza" (released on October 3), which is a completely new version.

The first theatrical version, "Arpeggio Aoki Kogei no Arpeggio - Ars Nova the Movie DC," which opened in theaters on January 31, will hold a stage greeting to commemorate the blockbuster hit. It will be held at Shinjuku Wald 9 and Yokosuka HUMAX Cinemas on February 15. The stage appearances will be by Kazuyuki Okitsu (Chihaya Gunzo), Mai Fuchigami (Iona), Hibiki Yamamura (Haruna), and Saki Fujita (Hyuga).

Additional theaters have also been announced. Thirty-six new theaters have been added, bringing the total to 67 nationwide (http://aokihagane.com/cinema-theater).

On January 31 and February 1, a total of 14 stage greetings will be held at seven theaters in four cities (Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Yokosuka). Each time was a packed house. At the six theaters in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya, Kazuyuki Okitsu (playing Chihaya Gunzo), Mai Fuchigami (playing Iona), Aimi Numakura (playing Takao), and Hibiki Yamamura (playing Haruna) participated, sharing their memories of the TV series, highlights of the new part, and their enthusiasm for the second feature film version. Meanwhile, at Yokosuka HUMAX Cinemas, Yumi Uchiyama (Kirishima), M.A.O. (Heei), Seiji Kishi (director), and Makoto Uezu (writer/composer) took the stage. Yotaro's stuffed animal was unveiled for the first time, and M.A.O., whose birthday was that day, was surprised with a birthday cake decorated with a picture of Heei, creating a festive mood with the audience.
