Singapore Airlines to screen all 12 episodes of "Knights of Sidonia" TV anime as in-flight entertainment! For 4 months from March 1 to June 31

The TV anime "Knights of Sidonia" will be screened as in-flight entertainment on Singapore Airlines.


Knights of Cydonia" is an anime work based on the science fiction manga by Tsutomu Nibei, who is known worldwide for his works such as "BLAME! It depicts a battle between the survivors of human beings traveling through space and Gauna, an interactive alien creature that destroys the solar system. The film version, which reconstructs all 12 episodes of the TV series and adds new cuts and sound effects, will be released on March 6, and the second TV anime season, "Knights of Sidonia: The Battle for the Ninth Planet," is scheduled to begin in April 2015.

The TV anime "Knights of Cydonia" will be screened on Singapore Airlines' in-flight entertainment system "Chris World" for four months from March 1 to June 31. All 12 episodes (audio: Japanese, subtitles: English) will be available throughout the global network that covers 30 countries and 60 cities. Of course, this is the first time "Knights of Sidonia" will be screened in-flight, and will be exclusively shown by Singapore Airlines during the month of March.


Incidentally, this work has been distributed to North/South American/European countries since summer 2014 through a direct contract with Netflix, Inc. of California, USA.
