TV Anime "Assassination Classroom" Announces Additional Characters/Cast! Saki Fujita as Ritsu (Autonomous Thinking Fixed Gunner) and Emi Ogata as Itona

Additional characters and cast members have been announced for the TV anime "Assassination Classroom" currently airing on TV.

Assassination Classroom" is an anime work based on the manga (serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump) by Yuuki Matsui of "Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro" fame. The story follows a year in the life of "Kakushi Sensei," who has Mach 20 speed and immense power and becomes the homeroom teacher of "Class E of Endo," a failing class in the third year of junior high school, even though he declares he will destroy the earth, and the students who take on the "Kakushi Sensei assassination mission" to save the earth. In addition to the anime version, a live-action movie version will be released in 2015.

The show has been airing since January 9, and additional characters/cast members who will appear as new transfer students have been announced. Ritsu, a new weapon equipped with artificial intelligence and an autonomous thinking fixed turret, will be played by Saki Fujita. It is a dangerous weapon equipped with all kinds of firearms, but it is displayed on the monitor as a lovely girl by the hands of the killing machine. The assassin sent to Class E, Horibe Itona, is played by Emi Ogata. She appears with Shiro, who is dressed in white, and also calls him "big brother," making her a mysterious character.


In addition, the first volume of the BD/DVD will be released on March 27. The first volume will come with an all-in-one storage box, priority application tickets for the main cast gathering event, bonus CDs and goods, audio commentary by the cast, and other perks. In addition, the DVD will include the original episode "Episode: 0 Meeting Time," which was shown exclusively at the event and focuses on the secret encounter between Kakushi Sensei and Karasuma Sensei.
