<Story
A junior high school boy, Sotsuki Ushio, lives with his father, who is the head priest of a temple. One day, he encounters something extraordinary in the basement of the storehouse at home. It was a great monster that had been feared by the people as a vicious monster and had been contained for 500 years by the "beast's spear"! Ushio pulls out his spear and is almost devoured by the yokai, but at the same time, he awakens from his slumber and transforms with the power of the "beast's spear," quickly defeating the other yokai that swarmed around him in a flash. Fearing the power of the spear, the great yokai unintentionally cooperates, and is named "Tora" by Ushio, and together they work together. Thus was born the "Ushitora" duo: a boy who had become the lance of the beast, and a great yokai who was after him, hoping to one day devour him. As they kick out the attacking monsters one after another, they become embroiled in an epic battle for the survival of the world...
