WesternDigital's WD40EURX, the largest capacity model of 3.5-inch HDDs for video recording, is now available!

WesternDigital's WD AV-GP 3.5-inch HDD series for video recording has introduced a new 4TB model, the WD40EURX.


The WD40EURX is the largest capacity 3.5-inch HDD in the series and is optimized for streaming HD video (up to 16 streams) and features SilkStream function, which is compatible with the ATA streaming command set.

Other key specifications include a SATA 6Gbps interface, 64MB cache capacity, and IntelliPower (variable speed). Average power consumption is 5.1W during read/write, 4.5W during idle, and 0.5W during standby/sleep.
