TV animation "BAR: Hated Vegetables" to start in April! Short anime co-produced by KADOKAWA and Shizuoka Asahi Television

The TV animation "BAR: Hated Vegetables" has been announced.

This is a short flash animation jointly produced by KADOKAWA and Shizuoka Asahi Television. The story is about a vegetable character with problems such as "I can't stand the smell," "I hesitate to even eat it," and "My children hate me," who visits a restaurant, talks with friends who have the same problems, and drinks with them to live positively tomorrow. The original work is a character content that has been developed through Twitter and Comic Walker's four-frame manga.

Directed by "Gundam-san" and "Puchimasu! -and "Petit Idolmaster," with series composition by Mankyu and Kosuke Narita, and character design by Daisuke Kimura. Sound director is Keiji Fujiwara, who also appears as Nas. Animation production is by Gathering. The music is by Shizuoka creator Suzumu, and the theme song is sung by Reina Maeda, who also plays Tomato. The cast includes Makoto Tanaka as celery, Yu Michii as parsley, Keiji Fujiwara as eggplant, Yuya Murakami as bitter melon, Reina Maeda as tomato, Takayuki Kondo as master (voice), Madoka Tomishiro as kimurabi, and a man around the corner as master (live action).


Broadcasting will begin in April on Shizuoka Asahi Television. Sun Set TV, an Internet broadcasting station that the company is launching as a new business venture, will begin distribution in March. In addition, events and goods are also planned.
