ARIA to Screen Completely New Anime "ARIA The AVVENIRE" at an Event on September 26!　A BD-BOX of the entire series will also be released!

New Anime "ARIA The AVVENIRE" Announced

ARIA The AVVENIRE" is a completely new anime based on the healing manga "ARIA" by Kozue Amano, whose series has sold over 4.8 million copies. It will be screened at an event on September 26 as the centerpiece of the 10th anniversary project "Ao no Curtain Call," which commemorates the 10th anniversary of the anime adaptation.

The staff who worked on the TV series are reunited, with director Junichi Sato, screenplay by Reiko Yoshida, and character design by Masayuki Ondechi. Production is by TYO Animations. In conjunction with the opening of the official website (http://www.ariacompany.net/), the first visual has also been released.

In addition, a BD-BOX containing all the ARIA series will be released. Details will be announced later.

I was honestly surprised that so much time has already passed since the first season of the anime aired in 2015, which is exactly 10 years ago.At first, I had planned to end this "ARIA" work comfortably with a single book.I had made up my mind to draw freely and enjoyably, but the work became a long-term serialization, reaching the highest number of volumes ever in my book collection, and has been adapted to animation many times.I had no idea at the time that it would become a life-long work that I would continue to pursue at full speed, and even now, I am deeply impressed by how mysterious it is.I am so happy to be able to see the "ARIA" animation again in high definition on Blu-ray, and to be able to make a new work as well.

What a blessing it is not only to be able to present the images of the past in a more beautiful state, but also to be able to go to Neo-Venice once again.Looking back, this work has brought me so many miraculous and happy things.In the first season, I was struggling to find a way to summarize this original work in 13 episodes, but in the end, I was allowed to work on it for 4 cool episodes... I don't think I could have done that from the beginning, but... I was happy.Making "ARIA" may have meant sharing a happy time with all the staff members, even though it was hard work.I am sure that my colleagues, who unfortunately can no longer work with me, are also happy.Welcome to the world of "ARIA" again.
