PLEXTOR's M6e Black Edition PCIe SSD with heatsink goes on sale tomorrow, the 7th!

PLEXTOR's M6e Black Edition PCIe SSDs with heat sinks are scheduled to go on sale tomorrow, Saturday the 7th.

The lineup includes three models: the 128GB capacity model " PX-128M6e-BK," the 256GB capacity model "PX-256M6e-BK," and the 512GB capacity model "PX-512M6e-BK.

The M6e Black Edition is a variation of the company's M6e PCIe SSD series released last year, featuring a heat sink covering the card surface to prevent IC performance degradation due to temperature rise.

Main specifications include sequential transfer rates of 770MB/sec read and 335MB/sec write for the 128GB model, 770MB/sec read and 580MB/sec write for the 256GB model, and 770MB/sec read and 625MB/sec write for the 512GB model. Random access is 96,000 IOPS read and 83,000 IOPS write for the 128GB model, 105,000 IOPS read and 100,000 IOPS write for the 256GB and 512GB models. In addition, it can be recognized by OS standard AHCI and supports both UEFI boot and traditional BIOS boot.
