TV anime "Mikagura Gakuen Kumikyoku" to start airing in April!　The first part of the cast and the main visual are also released!

Broadcasting of the TV anime "Mikagura Gakuen Kumikyoku" is scheduled to begin in April. The main visual and the first part of the cast were also announced.

Mikagura Gakuen Kumikyoku" is an anime work based on a light novel by Last Note. The story is based on the world of the Vocaloid music series "Mikagura Gakuen Kumikyoku." The main character enrolls in Mikagura Gakuen, where only cultural clubs exist, and becomes involved in a custom in which representatives from each club battle each other with special abilities.

In conjunction with the decision to start broadcasting in April, the main visual and the first batch of cast members have been unveiled. The cast includes: Ms. Tamari Kimura as Erna Ichinomiya, a recluse who decided to enter Mikagura Gakuen because of the cute school uniform and the model in the pamphlet; Ms. Saori Onishi as Seishain Mikagura, the representative of the homecoming club who used to be called the strongest in the school; Ms. Arie Ozawa as Otone Fujishiro, a first-year student who is not affiliated with the school like Erna; and Ms. Yachiyo as Otone Yatsuhiko, the representative of the calligraphy club with an innocent and cheerful personality. Ayaka Suwa plays Himi Yasaka, the representative of the calligraphy club, who has a bright and cheerful personality; Nobunaga Shimazaki plays Sigure Ninomiya, the representative of the manga club and a cousin who loves Erna very much; and Teijo Matsuoka plays Bimii, a mysterious winged dog or cat-like creature.

In addition, the opening theme will be "Houkago Kakumei (After School Revolution)," a new song by Last Note. The CD will be released on April 22. The coupling song will be a character song cover version (sung by Erna Ichinomiya) by Tom-H@ck's rearrangement of the popular song "Houkago Stride," the starting point of the series.
