LITEON's 2.5-inch/mSATA SSD "S900" is now on sale! 128GB model for about 8,000 yen
LITEON's SATA 6Gbps SSD "S900" is now available in 2.5-inch (7mm thick) and mSATA versions.
The three capacities available are a 128GB/256GB model for the 2.5-inch version and a 128GB model for the mSATA version.
The 2.5-inch version has specifications that "the controller is made by Marvell and the NAND flash is made by Toshiba" (store). Nominal transfer rates are 530MB/sec read (common) and 290MB/sec write (128GB model) and 420MB/sec (256GB model). Random 4K performance is 99,000 IOPS read (common) and 73,000 IOPS write (128GB model) and 86,000 IOPS (256GB model).
The mSATA version is not listed on the official website, so detailed specifications are unknown. We could barely confirm that it is equipped with a Marvell controller. The transfer rate is "530MB/sec read, 290MB/sec write" (store).
Both products have a 3-year warranty and are handled by Lynx International.
