Sakurajima Fire," a cap-shaped vinyl umbrella that fits completely up to the shoulders, is now on sale at Technohouse Toei.
Sakurajima Fire" is a local umbrella of Kagoshima, Japan, which adopts a dome-shaped design to avoid the volcanic ash of Sakurajima. The umbrella cloth is decorated with an illustration of Sakurajima, which is quite cute. It also comes with a cover that can be hung over the back, allowing the wearer to feel like a ninja on sunny days.
It is unlikely that volcanic ash will fall in the Akiba area, but the shape of the cloth, which completely covers the shoulders, may come in handy when the rain is heavy or when you are carrying a backpack. The design is a bit unique, but if you are one of those people who "value practicality when it comes to tools," or if you "want to stand out from the crowd! Why don't you pick one up?
The price is 980 yen (tax included).
