The packaged version of the popular video encoder TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works 6 is now available!

The packaged version of TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works 6, the latest version of Pegasys' classic video encoder, is now available. The downloadable version was already released last December.

TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works 6" is the successor to "TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works 5" and has been renewed to 64-bit dedicated software for the 8K generation.

The video encoder also supports H.265/HEVC video compression technology input/output for the 8K generation, H264/AVC 10-bit 4:2:2/4:4:4 output, Sony's 4K compatible XAVC S format output, and WebM/OGG output.

In addition, hardware encoding has been enhanced, with support for NVENC, which can be used with NVIDIA's Kepler generation or later GPUs (GeForce GTX 600 series), and MPEG-2 output has been added to the Intel Media SDK (QSV) for high-speed encoding.

Other improvements include a clip editing screen that supports 8K size editing and improved timeline editing. Another key feature is a group of filters that adds time-lapse, diorama, and chroma key.

Supported OS is Windows 8.1/8/7 SP1. Recommended requirements for timeline editing are a Core i7 2.66GHz or higher CPU, 4GB or more memory (must specify 4GB or more total for page files), and a GeForce GT 650 or higher video card with CUDA capability.
