TMS and Seibu Railway to release "De De Den," a collaborative anime set on trains and train lines, on February 23! Directed by Hiro Kaburaki of "Kimi ni Todoke

An original anime by TMS and Seibu Railway, "De De Den," will be released on February 23.

This is an original collaborative animation produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of TMS's animation production and the 100th anniversary of Seibu Railway. This is a commemorative work that expresses the gratitude of both companies for their long history together, as well as the commitment of both companies to work together with their customers for the next 50 years, 100 years, and into the "future. It is also a presentation of the attitude that both companies will continue to work together with customers for the next 50 to 100 years and into the next "future.

The content is a story about Amoru Tokorozawa, the main character, and the railroad. The characters are designed with animal motifs, paying homage to TMS's previous animation works. The film is directed by Hiro Kaburaki, a hit maker whose "Kimi ni Todoke" and "Onikan no Roketsu" have enjoyed great popularity among female audiences, with Norihiro Naganuma as assistant director and Kayoko Ishikawa as character designer. Music is by S.E.N.S. (Sense), who is also active in live-action.


The film will be shown on Smile Vision in trains and Smile Station Vision (*) around major train stations from February 23 to December 31, 2012.

Smile Vision is a visual media utilizing 15- and 17-inch LCD monitors installed above the doors of the new commuter train Series 300000 and the Tokyo Metro transit-ready Series 6000. Smile Station Vision is an electronic billboard installed at Takadanobaba Station and other stations.
