BANDAI VISUAL, from April 24, BD/DVD purchasers can download the full-length movie to their devices!　New service "BANDAI VISUAL+".

BANDAI VISUAL announced "BANDAI VISUAL+," a video download viewing service for BD/DVD purchasers.

By registering the special serial code enclosed in the BD/DVD to be released by Bandai Visual at the designated site, the user can download the full-length video of the purchased product to his/her mobile device for a fee. Since the video data can be stored on the device, compared to conventional streaming distribution, users can enjoy unlimited, stable viewing in a variety of environments without worrying about signal conditions, etc. Incidentally, the system uses "DISC PLUS," an application developed by Memory-Tech Corporation (scheduled for release in mid-April).

The first BD/DVD to be covered by the service is the OVA "Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin I: Casbal of the Blue Eyes," released on April 24, and all BD limited first edition/standard BD/DVD editions are eligible. If you register the enclosed special serial code by July 23, you can download the full-length movie for free. The regular price is 1,000 yen plus tax.

Each serial code can be downloaded up to three times. The usage method is as follows.

<How to use
(1) Access the "BANDAI VISUAL+" website and follow the instructions to register the serial code (Note 1) and make payment.
(2) Install the "DISC PLUS" application (Note 2) on the mobile device you wish to use.
(3) Launch the "DISC PLUS" application and download the full-length video data of the registered work to the device (Note 3)
(Note 1) The serial code for "Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin I" is valid from April 24, 2015 to April 23, 2017.
(Note 2) The application "DISC PLUS" will be released by Memory-Tech around mid-April 2015.
(Note 3) Each serial code can be downloaded up to three times. Communication costs for downloading are to be borne by the customer.
*To use this service, you need to register (free of charge) as a member of Bandai Visual's e-commerce site "BANDAI VISUAL CLUB" (https://bvc.bandaivisual.co.jp/). This service is not compatible with feature phones or PCs. Use of this service is limited to Japan. Registration, payment, and downloading cannot be performed before the service starts.
