Details of the BD-BOX/DVD-BOX Volume 1 of the TV anime "Parasite: Sei's Ratio" currently being broadcast have been announced.

Parasite: Sei's Ratio" is an anime work based on the popular science fiction manga "Kiseiju," which has sold over 13 million copies in total. It depicts the bizarre fate of a high school student and a parasitic creature that lives in his right hand, which is a parasite that lives in the brain of a human being and takes control of his entire body, preying on other humans. The series is directed by Kenichi Shimizu, who worked as action animation director on "Hajime no Ippo New Challenger" and director on "AVENGERS CONFIDENTIAL BLACKWIDOW & PUNISHER," and the series is composed by Shoji Yonemura, who is known for writing scripts for the Pokemon series and Pretty Cure series. Character design is by Teishi Hiramatsu, who worked on "Boyfriend and Girlfriend" and "Abenobashi Magical Shopping Arcade," and production is by Madhouse.

Details of the BD-BOX/DVD-BOX Volume 1, which will be released on March 18, have been revealed. The package will contain episodes 1 through 12, and the box specification is designed with a rigid and fluid image of "parasite. Audio extras include audio commentaries for three episodes (episode 1: Aya Hirano x Nobunaga Shimazaki, episode 6: Aya Hirano x Nobunaga Shimazaki x Kana Hanazawa, episode 12: Aya Hirano x Nobunaga Shimazaki x Miyuki Sawashiro). Included in the package is a 48-page booklet with a 262-page storyboard collection (episodes 1 and 2) by director Kenichi Shimizu, setting materials, and more. The first run of the series will also include a card with a free viewing code for all episodes of "Yosei Beast: Sei no Ritsu" on Nittele On Demand (*for 30 days only), a Miggy sticker, and an entry ticket for a purchase bonus linked with the second volume. In addition, wall stickers (type A) will be distributed at Yodobashi Camera and wall stickers (type B) at other general stores.

Both 3-disc sets are priced at 24,000 yen plus tax for the BD-BOX and 18,000 yen plus tax for the DVD-BOX. The second volume will be released on July 22.
