Snow White with Red Hair" to be adapted into a TV anime in the summer of 2015!　Directed by Masahiro Ando of "Hanasaku Iroha" and produced by BONES

A TV anime adaptation of "Snow White with Red Hair" has been announced. The broadcast will begin in the summer of 2015.

Snow White with Red Hair" is a girls' manga by Akizuki Sorata that was first published in LaLaDX in 2006, followed by a sequel the following year, and has been serialized in the monthly LaLa magazine since 2011. The manga has sold a total of 1.7 million copies through volume 12. The content is a fantasy-romance depicting human relationships in a certain kingdom, centering on Shirayuki, a red-haired girl who aspires to become a pharmacist.

The staff of the anime version is directed by Masahiro Ando of "Hanasaku Iroha" and "Zetsuen no Tempest," with series composition by Deko Akao of "Noragami" and "Arakawa Under the Bridge" and character design by Kumiko Takahashi of "Ouran High School Host Club" and "Mobile Suit Gundam UC. Animation production will be handled by BONES. The cast includes Saori Hayami (Shirayuki) and Ryota Osaka (Zen).

<Story
Shirayuki, a young girl with red hair, is bewitched by Prince Raj of the Kingdom of Tambarun, and is about to be made his mistress, so she leaves the country.
In the forest where she arrives, she is rescued by the second prince of the neighboring kingdom, Zen, and begins working as a court pharmacist in his kingdom, Clarineth. Before long, Shirayuki and Zen begin to develop feelings for each other. They are a prince and a pharmacist, but through many encounters and events, their bond deepens.
The number of people who recognize them increases little by little...
