Anime Symphonia," a full orchestra concert of anime music by the Japan Gekidan Symphony Orchestra, has announced the performers and the music to be performed in the second part.

→The Japan Gekidan Symphony Orchestra will hold a full orchestra concert of anime music "Anime Symphonia" on July 20! Members of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and NHK Symphony Orchestra will participate.

The first part of the concert will consist of pieces from "representative anime works that have caused a stir in recent years," with an a la carte slot between the first and second halves. The second part (common program for both day and night) will be a performance of music from the "Shinkage no Kyojin" soundtrack (*part of the performance will be in medley form) as follows. Performers will include Kazumasa Watanabe, conductor of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and a regular collaborator with the NHK Symphony Orchestra; Takashi Nagamine, concertmaster and principal second violin of the NHK Symphony Orchestra; Tsutomu Narita, active in game music related fields (arranger); and Tsutomu Makido, a composer of TV drama A total of 11 players from the NHK Symphony Orchestra will participate as principal of their respective parts.

Guest singers are scheduled to appear in the a la carte program.
