Bumblebee Becomes Leader! Prime Sequel "Transformers Robots in Disguise" to Air Worldwide This Spring

The animated TV series "Transformer Robots in Disguise" has been announced.

Transformers Robots in Disguise" is the latest TV series in the "Transformers" animated series. As a sequel to the movie "Transformers Prime," which won an Emmy Award in the U.S. and was popular around the world, the series will challenge new visual expressions that combine the best of 3DCG and hand-drawn animation. In this film, Bumblebee is the leader of a new team of young Autobots, including the cool rebel Sideswipe, the elite cadet Strongarm, the over-the-top Dinobot Grimlock, and the excitable minicon Fix-It. Their adventures in pursuit of the evil Decepticons scattered across the planet are depicted with action and humor.

Steven Davis, Chief Content Officer of Hasbro Inc. which is producing the film, said, "We spent a lot of time talking with the kids about what they like about Transformers. Transformers Robots in Disguise reflects everything we learned from those conversations. I think we've created the most sympathetic Autobot for children of all the series so far!" he commented.

The series will begin airing this spring in countries around the world. In Japan, it will be broadcast as "Transformers Adventure" on Animax on March 15 at 9:00.
