FlashAir III, an SD card with wireless LAN that allows users to upload photos via a wireless LAN router, is now available!

Toshiba has released the "FlashAir III" (overseas model), an SD card with wireless LAN that allows users to upload photos directly to the Internet via a wireless LAN router.

The lineup includes two models: the 16GB capacity model "SD-R016GR7AL03A" and the 32GB model "SD-R032GR7AL03A".




The "FlashAir III" is a new model in the "FlashAir" series of wireless LAN-equipped SD cards that can wirelessly transfer photos and videos taken with digital cameras and other devices to PCs, smartphones, and tablets.

The third generation "FlashAir III" is equipped with the new "Internet pass-through" function. Files can be uploaded directly to the Internet via a wireless LAN router without having to transfer the files to a device such as a smartphone or tablet.

The main specifications include an SD speed class of Class 10, and WEP, TKIP, and AES (WPA/WPA2) encryption methods for wireless LAN.
