Kyo-ani's brass band anime "Hibike! Euphonium", the main visual has been released!　Preliminary screening event to be held in Kyoto!

The main visual and event information for the TV anime "Hibike! Euphonium," the main visual and event information was announced.

Euphonium" is an adolescent energetic novel that won the "8th Japan Love Story Award" from Takarajima-sha! Euphonium" is based on the novel "Hibike! Euphonium: Welcome to Kita-Uji High School Brass Band" (original story by Ayano Takeda). Set in a high school brass band club, it is a coming-of-age story that depicts how the female members of the club seriously engage in club activities under the strict guidance of their newly appointed advisor. Directed by Tatsuya Ishihara of the "Chuunibyou de Koi ga Shitai! series, series composition by Juki Hanada, character design by Akiko Ikeda, and series direction by Naoko Yamada. Animation production will be handled by Kyoto Animation.

The main visual and event information have now been released. The main visual is a group illustration of the four members, depicting the instruments played by each member except for the main character, Kumiko Kiomae (who plays the euphonium). The event will be an advance screening of the first episode to be held on March 28 in Kyoto, the setting of the anime. Tomoyo Kurosawa (Kumiko Kozae), Ayaka Asai (Hazuki Kato), Chika Asai (Rena Kosaka), and Tatsuya Ishihara (director) are scheduled to appear on stage.
