Released "BRIX", a small GIGABYTE barebone with Broadwell-U version Core i5/i3!

GIGABYTE's compact "BRIX" barebone with Broadwell-U version Core i5/i3 is now available.

The new additions are the GB-BXI5-5200, which features the Core i5-2200U CPU (2 cores/4 threads, clocked at 2.2 GHz (up to 2.7 GHz), TDP 15W) and the Core i3-5010U (2 cores/4 threads, clocked at 2.1 GHz (Turbo (2 cores/4 threads, clocked at 2.1 GHz (Turbo Boost not supported), TDP 15W), and the GB-BXI3-5010.

Both models have the same basic specifications as the higher-end "GB-BXI7-5500" (Core i7-5500U) model introduced in February, except for the CPU, but the two models introduced this time do not have NFC functionality.

Supported memory is DDR3L SO-DIMM x 2 (1333/1600MHz compatible, maximum 16GB). Main interfaces are Gigabit LAN, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n/ac)/Bluetooth 4.0, mSATA x 1, M.2 x 1 (Wi-Fi/BT card installed), USB 3.0, AUDIO IN/OUT (combo jack). Monitor output terminals are Mini DisplayPort and HDMI. 114.4 (W) x 33.9 (H) x 107.6 (D) mm.
