A Miracast-compatible display adapter, " Wireless Display Adapter," has been released by Microsoft Japan.




The "Wireless Display Adapter" is a wireless adapter that can be plugged into the HDMI terminal of a TV or monitor to wirelessly mirror the screen of a Miracast-enabled device or use it as a second display.

The main specifications are as follows: the main unit measures 87.8 (W) x 20 (D) x 9.9 (H) mm and weighs 33.16 g. The connection interface is HDMI, and the power source is USB bus power. Supported operating systems are Windows 8.1 and Android 4.2.1 or later (Miracast-equipped devices only). The cable length is 332.74 mm, and a 180 mm HDMI extension cable is included.
