Animate has finally opened stores in 47 prefectures in Japan!　The last one is "Animate AEON MATSUE" in Shimane Prefecture, which opened on April 25th.

Animate" has become the first anime store to open stores in all 47 prefectures of Japan.

The first animate store opened in Ikebukuro in 1983, and has continued to expand nationwide for over 30 years. This time, it was decided to open "animate AEON MATSUE" in Shimane Prefecture, which had not yet opened a store, thus achieving the feat of opening stores in all 47 prefectures in Japan. The store is scheduled to open on April 25 as the 116th store in Japan.

Various commemorative events and campaigns are currently being planned.
