Stackable Thermaltake Cube PC Case "Core X1/X2" is now available! Mini-ITX exclusive model / MicroATX model

Stackable cube PC cases "Core X2" and "Core X1" from Thermaltake are now available.


The Core X2 is a smaller version of the recently released Core X9, which is compatible with E-ATX mothers, while the Core X1 is a model for Micro ATX mothers.

Both are cube PC cases that can be equipped with a large number of fans and large radiators. The structure allows the same case to be stacked two layers, which enhances cooling and expandability. Both models can be fitted with fans up to 200mm in size and radiators up to 360mm in size.

The main specifications of the Core X2 include three 5-inch bays, four 2.5/3.5-inch shadow bays, and three 2.5-inch shadow bays, with five expansion slots. Standard installed fans are 2 x 120 mm (front/rear, 1 each); I/O: 2 x USB 3.0, AUDIO IN/OUT; clearance is up to 480 mm for expansion card space, 230 mm total height for CPU cooler, and 220 mm depth for power supply space. Supported form factors are Micro ATX and Mini-ITX. 320 (W) x 465 (H) x 541 (D) and 11.6 kg in weight.

The Core X1 has two 5-inch bays, three 2.5/3.5-inch shadow bays, and one 2.5-inch shadow bay, and three expansion slots. Standard installed fans are 2 x 120 mm (front/rear, 1 each). Clearance is up to 400mm for expansion card space, 200mm for CPU cooler height, and 220mm deep for power supply space. The main unit measures 280 (W) x 426 (H) x 471 (D) mm and weighs 9 kg.
