Ore Monogatari! is a girls' manga serialized in Bessatsu Margaret (original work: Kazune Kawahara/illustration: Arco). The original comic has been published up to volume 7, and boasts a total of more than 3 million copies in circulation. The story is a romantic comedy centered on Takeo Gouda, a big, strong, and bold man, and the people around him. The characterization is characterized by breaking the conventional wisdom in shoujo manga that heroes are good-looking men, and the highlights of the story are the numerous elements of attractiveness displayed by the hero, who is not handsome by any means, but is both dynamic and masculine in his gentleness. Directed by Morio Asaka of "Chihayafuru" fame, the animation is produced by Madhouse.

The PV is about a minute and a half long and features the voices of Takuya Eguchi as Takeo Gouda, Megumi Ban as Rinko Yamato, and Nobunaga Shimazaki as Makoto Sunagawa. In addition, the OP song "Future Tense Answer" by TRUSTRICK, which is being performed for the first time, is also used.

The DVD accompanying the April 2015 issue of Bessatsu Margaret, on sale March 13, includes a talk by Kazune Kawahara (original story), Arco (artwork), Takuya Eguchi, Megumi Ban, and Nobunaga Shimazaki, as well as another version of the PV using footage from the film.
