Large case with HEPA filter to keep the inside of the case clean!　SilverStone "SST-MM01B" is now available!

SilverStone has introduced the "SST-MM01B," a tower PC case that prevents dust and water from getting into the case, which can lead to computer malfunctions and problems.

The "SST-MM01B" is a large PC case featuring a dust/drip-proof construction. It is equipped with a HEPA filter that can catch more than 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3μm (micrometer) in the air intake port on the front panel. It prevents dust from entering the case and keeps it clean. Incidentally, this HEPA filter is a high-performance filter used in household air purifiers.

In addition to the filter's filtration capacity, the case is also focused on airflow (suction power), with two AP182 original 18cm fans installed to achieve a maximum airflow of 340 CFM (170 CFM x 2).

Another key point is the use of a structure that resists water infiltration. In addition to omitting air vents on the top and both side panels, a clapboard-like design has been adopted for the vents on the front rear panel. Even if water splashes from directly above or from the side, the PC parts will not come into direct contact with it.

The number of bays is 2 x 5", 7 x 3.5" shadow (one bay is hot-swappable), and 4 x 2.5" shadow, with 8 expansion slots. Standard fans are 2 x 180mm in the front and 1 x 120mm in the back as an option.

The main unit measures 271 (W) x 542 (H) x 597 (D) mm and weighs 13.5 kg. Clearance is 337 mm maximum for expansion card space, 183 mm total height for the CPU cooler, and 285 mm depth (recommended 220 mm) for the power supply. Supported motherboards are SSI-EEB, SSI-CEB, Extended ATX, ATX, and Micro ATX.

Oriospec, the retailer, is taking orders and will receive the product in April.
