Report on the opening day greetings for "Beyond the Boundary Past Arc: The Movie!　Newly Recorded Lines in the Compilation Make the Play "Different from the TV Version"!

The opening day of the anime film "Beyond the Boundary -I'LL BE HERE- Past Arc" was held on March 14.

Beyond the Boundary" is based on the light novel of the same title by Nagomu Torii, published by KAESMA Bunko (winner of the 2nd Kyoto Animation Grand Prix Encouragement Award), and has been adapted from "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya," "K-ON! I Want to Fall in Love Even if You Have a Chunibyo Disease! (the winner of the 2nd Kyoto Animation Grand Prize Encouragement Award), and produced by Kyoto Animation, known for such works as "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya," "K-ON! It is an action fantasy centering on a half-demon boy and a girl who is a survivor of a family with cursed blood. The film version is a two-part work: the "Past Arc," which looks back on the TV series with the heroine Mirai Kuriyama at the center, and the completely new "Future Arc," which takes place one year after the TV series.

The opening day greeting for the "Past Arc" was held at Shinjuku Piccadilly on March 14, and was attended by voice actors Risa Taneda (Mirai Kuriyama), KENN (Akito Kanbara), Minori Chihara (Mitsuki Nase), Tatsuo Suzuki (Hiroomi Nase), Yuri Yamaoka (Ai Shindo), and director Taichi Ishidate. The lead actress, Risa Taneda, was especially excited to appear wearing the same red glasses as the main character, Mirai. The voice actors also greeted each other with famous lines from their characters, showing how well they get along with each other. Below are their comments.

The second part, "Future Arc," which is a completely new film, will be released on April 25.

Risa Taneda
I think that the play is different from the TV version because I rerecorded all the voices for the theater version. For me, "Beyond the Boundary" Past and Future Arc is my first starring role in a theater version, so I am very emotional and happy to be here today. I am very happy to be able to play this role today, and I think you will enjoy the newly voiced and edited past version differently from the TV version. I am very happy to have played this role. The future version is also very, very beautiful, so please look forward to it. I hope you will watch over the work "Beyond the Boundary" until the very end. Thank you very much for your time today.

KENN
The sound director told us that it would be a waste to do the same thing we did for the TV show, so after a year and three months, we were able to play characters that we interpreted in our own way. It is not easy to experience something like this. The staff and we, the cast, did our best to create this work, so we are very happy that it was successfully released to the public and that everyone was able to see it. Watching it in a theater is a special environment where you can laugh, cry, and share your feelings with other audience members. I hope that many people will see it again and again. The future version is also going to be terrific, so please watch it. Thank you very much for your time today.

Minori Chihara
It's not often that we have such a close working environment, so I really enjoyed the postrecording of the movie version, which was the first time in a while that I was able to record with everyone.
We laughed a lot and cried a lot. It was very moving to hear the theme song I sang on the screen.
Following on from the past episode, I am also in charge of the theme song "The Sky I Wish I Met" for the future episode. I cried and cried when I read the script for the future episode... It was such a sad love story that I was worried if I could do the recording properly. Thank you very much for your time today.

Tatsuo Suzuki
In the TV version, there is a line "I got a good brother", which was ad-libbed in the TV version.
I was glad to see that it was included in the script for the new recording. I hope you will enjoy the reconstructed pictures and sounds of the past episodes in the theater. Thank you very much for seeing the show today. The future version is also quite amazing and I think it is even better than you can imagine! I hope you will enjoy the future version as well.

Today was my first stage greeting and first MC in my life! Thank you very much! I'm so glad that Ai could be a part of "Beyond the Borderlands -I'LL BE HERE-".
I'm so happy to be able to appear in the "Past Arc". We hope you will see it in theaters! The future version will be released on April 25th! Also, the Blu-ray & DVD of the Past Arc is available only at the theater. I hope you will visit the theater and enjoy watching it again and again at home! I was very happy to be able to take the stage today. This work is filled with a lot of love from the staff. I hope it will remain in your hearts forever and ever, and that you will love it! Taichi Ishidate
I thought everyone has not changed even though it has been a year and three months since we last met. I am so glad that I could feel the cast's desire to make a good work together. I talked with Mr. Tsuruoka, the sound director, about this past episode, and we decided to record new lines. The cast members were able to chew over the characters once again after the TV series, and it was a very different experience from the TV series. We have newly recorded all of the dialogue and the play accompaniment that appears in the film, so even if you have already seen the TV series, you will be able to feel that the film is new. We look forward to working with you again on the future version.
