The original TV anime "High School Star Musical" has been announced.

This is a coming-of-age story about the struggles of high school boys devoted to musicals. It is a completely original work and will begin airing in the fall of 2015. The staff consists of Rin Hinata for planning and drafting, Shunsuke Tada for directing, Sayaka Harada for series composition, and Ayami Watanabe for character design. Animation production will be handled by C-Station. The cast includes Natsuki Hanae as Yuta Hoshitani, Kensho Ono as Toru Nayuki, Kaito Tsukihito as Lansbury Arthur, Yoshimasa Hosoya as Sho Tenkadera, Tomoaki Maeno as Shu Kukan, Junichi Suwabe as Houki, and Daisuke Hirakawa as Tsubasa Hiiragi.

The official free fan club "Show Case" has already been launched. It includes an irregular FC newsletter with limited episodes, a membership card with an exclusive serial number, and seasonal greeting cards. The first application period is from March 20 to April 30 at 23:59.

In addition, the PV will be shown for the first time at the NBCUniversal booth (East Hall 5, J12) at AnimeJapan 2015 (March 21-22, Tokyo Big Sight). A booklet with character introductions and staff interviews will also be distributed.
