Little Witch Academia: Magical Parade" to release its first PV at AnimeJapan!　Free clear files will be distributed and booth-linked events will also be held!

The anime film "Little Witch Academia: Magic Parade" will be released in 2015, and the first PV will be released on March 21.

Little Witch Academia: Magic Parade" is a sequel to "Little Witch Academia," a 25-minute original short animation depicting the school life of apprentice witches, which was produced by Trigger in March 2013 as part of the Agency for Cultural Affairs' "Anime Mirai 2013" project for training young animators. In July 2013, the project started soliciting funds for the sequel production on the American crowdfunding service "Kickstarter," and reached its goal of $150,000 in just five hours. In the end, a total of $625,518 (approx. 74 million yen) was collected from 7,938 supporters in one month, and production began on a 40-minute short animation "Little Witch Academia 2 (tentative title)". The director continues to be Yoh Yoshinari.

The first PV will be unveiled at AnimeJapan 2015 (March 21-22/Tokyo Big Sight). It will be held at the Good Smile Company & Ultra Super Pictures booth (J44) and the TOHO animation booth (J54), where key visuals will be displayed and a making-of video from the previous work will be shown. In addition, original A4 clear files featuring the key visuals will be distributed free of charge, and a BD signed by the director and cast will be given away by drawing to those who take a picture of the visuals in the booth and upload it on Twitter.
