Battlefield Hardline" is the latest title in the popular military FPS "Battlefield" series. Based on the war on drugs, the game's "single-player mode" follows the exploits of police officer Nick Mendoza and his partner Khai Minh Dao.

In the "Multiplayer Mode," in which players are divided into police and robbery teams, there is a "Hotwire" mode in which a team of robbers steal a car and flee, while a team of cops try to stop them in a chase, and a "Conquest" mode in which up to 64 players (24 players for PS3/Xbox 360) are divided into two teams to capture a base. The "Conquest" mode, in which up to 64 players (up to 24 for PS3/Xbox 360) are divided into two teams to attack a base of operations, offers a different experience from the previous "Battlefield" series.

The sales at stores in Akihabara were not so bad. The game is expected to sell well over the weekend, mainly due to pre-orders.
