Video card with GeForce GTX TITAN X, the highest-end model of the Maxwell generation single GPU, is now available!　Actual sales 160,000 yen

A video card equipped with NVIDIA's ultra high-end GPU GeForce GTX TITAN X is now available.

The manufacturer is GALAX and the product is the GF PGTXTITAN-X/12GD5.

The GeForce GTX TITAN X is the highest-end model of the Maxwell architecture GPU that exceeds the GeForce GTX 980. It is a GPU that is said to be able to comfortably play high-definition 4K resolution games.

Incidentally, while previous TITAN models offered a function to increase double-precision floating-point (DP) calculation performance that can also be utilized for GPU computing, TITAN X omits this function. The supercomputer-like use of the TITAN X is diminished. Nevertheless, it claims 7TFLOPS peak performance in single-precision floating point (SP), which is a significant increase when compared to the GTX 980's 4.61TFLOPS and TITAN's 4.5TFLOPS.

GeForce GTX TITAN X also strives to improve the quality of the card. The benefit of this is that there is more room to stretch when overclocking. The GeForce GTX TITAN X is only available as a reference design, but the card is designed to be high quality at that level.

The main specifications include 3072 (2048) CUDA cores, 192 (128) texture units, and 96 (64) render backend (ROP) units. Note that the specifications in parentheses compare with GeForce GTX 980 specifications, which are scaled up by 1.5 times in terms of the number of CUDA cores, texture units, and ROPs.

GPU clock is 1000MHz base/1075MHz boost; memory is GDDR5, 384-bit bus width, 12GB capacity; data rate is 7Gbps (equivalent to 7GHz memory clock).

Auxiliary power supply pins are in an 8-pin + 6-pin configuration, and the board's TDP is 250W; the TDP is the same as the GeForce GTX TITAN, but NVIDIA says the watt performance has been doubled.

Monitor output ports include three DisplayPort, one HDMI, and one Dual Link DVI.

GALAX's GF PGTXTITAN-X/12GD5, which is now available, has the same specifications.
