Dark fantasy set in an abandoned online game!　Summer Anime "Overlord", Staff and First PV Revealed!

Broadcasting of the TV anime "Overlord" is scheduled to begin in July. The staff and the first PV were also announced.

Overlord" is a fantasy novel by Kugane Maruyama that has sold over 400,000 copies. Set in the online game "Yggdrasil," which caused a huge boom but is no longer available, the story is about a lonely boy who loves games in the real world who becomes the most powerful wizard and leads his guild to confront the NPCs who have suddenly begun to have a will of their own and the other worlds outside the guild that he has never seen before. The TV anime version will feature the same cast as the drama CD that came with the special edition of the original novel. The first PV is a 2-minute video that uses footage from the main series.
