Cyborg 009", a new animation will be produced in 2015 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of its birth!　Directed by Jun Kawagoe as in the 2001 version!

A decision to produce a new anime from "Cyborg 009" has been announced.

The manga serialization of "Cyborg 009" began in Weekly Shonen King on July 19, 1964 and remained unfinished for a long time. In 2014, 50 years after the serialization began, the masterpiece "Cyborg 009" was completed in the form of a novel and comic based on the concept notes written by Shotaro Ishinomori. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the series, a new anime work will be released in 2015.

The new anime will feature Jun Kawagoe as director, as was the case with "Cyborg 009 THE CYBORG SOLDIER," which was broadcast as a TV series in 2001. Details are unknown, but it will depict a new battle between Zero Zero Number Cyborgs, who have been fighting for half a century.
