TV anime "Ushio & Tora" to start this summer, the second main cast and visuals have been released! Yu Hatanaka as Ushio and Rikiya Koyama as Tora

The TV anime "Ushio-Tora" will start this summer, and the main cast and the second set of main visuals have been announced.

Ushio-Tora" is a very popular comic series by Kazuhiro Fujita, which was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Sunday from 1990 to 1996 and sold more than 30 million copies in book form and in paperback. This is the first TV anime adaptation of the manga, 20 years after its serialization ended. Directed by Satoshi Nishimura of "TRIGUN" and "The First Step" fame, series composition by Toshiki Inoue of "DEATH NOTE" and "Devil May Cry" fame, and character design by Tomoko Mori of "GARO" (guest character design). Animation production will be handled by MAPPA studio VOLN.

The announcement was made public at Sunday Fest 2015 held at Pacifico Yokohama on Sunday, March 29, 2015. The newly released main visual depicts the fierce anger between Ushio and Tora.

The four members of the main cast are: the main character Sougetsu Ushio is played by Yu Hatanaka, a current university student who played the role of Kujukyuuma in "Yu-Gi-Oh ZEXAL". Rikiya Koyama, well-known for his role as Kogoro Mouri in "Detective Conan," was chosen to play the role of Tora. In addition, the roles of Asako Nakamura and Mayuko Inoue will be played by Mikako Komatsu and Kiyono Anno, who played Megumi Kato in "How to Raise a Saerenai Kano" respectively.

In addition, the following people have been confirmed to appear in the film, although their roles are not yet known.
