TV anime "Knights of Sidonia: The Battle of the Ninth Planet" unveils new PV! BD Volume 1 includes an entry ticket to purchase a box containing the entire 1st/2nd season!

A new PV from the TV anime "Knights of Sidonia: Battle for the Ninth Planet," which will start in April, has been released.

Knights of Sidonia" is an anime work based on the science fiction manga by Tsutomu Nibei, who is known worldwide for his works such as "BLAME! It depicts a battle between the survivors of human beings traveling through space and Gauna, an interactive alien creature that destroys the solar system. The film version, which reconstructs all 12 episodes of the TV series and adds new cuts and sound effects, was released in March 2015, and the second TV anime season, "Knights of Sidonia: Battle for the Ninth Planet," will begin in April.

This time, a new PV for the second season, which will start airing on April 10, has been released. In this PV, powerful battle scenes using the latest digital technology are shown for the first time, and we can expect powerful battle scenes between Morito, a large weapon including Tsugumori controlled by the main character, Nagamichi Tanikaze, and Kiiko. The jacket visual for the opening theme song "Knight's March" by angela has also been completed. The single will be released on April 29, and will include the theme song "Ai, Hitorikata" from the movie version as a coupling track.


The BD/DVD will be released on April 29, and the first BD volume will include special footage of the new angle version, which was well received by viewers in the previous series.
