The Z97A GAMING 7, a Z97 motherboard with USB 3.1 ports, is now available from MSI.

The Z97A GAMING 7 is based on the mid-range Z97 GAMING 7 motherboard and has two USB 3.1 ports (Type-A), and uses ASMedia's ASM1142 as the USB 3.1 controller chip.

The X99A SLI Krait Edition and Z97A GAMING 9 ACK from MSI are the first USB 3.1-equipped motherboards on the market.
